  1. Dan Bonnell says:

145lbs is so hard to rank. An absolutely stacked weight class.

Levan Makashvilli made a big splash recently with a win over Soriano. (Two UFC Veterans) but Levan has returned to international fighting. If he secures another fight in the northeast id include him but for now he’s off the list.

  2. Russell Leak says:

Jessy Miele deserves at least an honorable mention at 145lbs. She is a pro right?

  3. Dan Bonnell says:

    Russell,

Jessy is one of the better fighters in WMMA locally. However, WMMA in New England is so scarce that we cant possibly rank more than one weight class. Most girls locally have been agreeeing on catch weights or 115-130 lb weights. i dont think its fair to make a pound for pound woman division really. Just waiting for WMMA to further develop locally so that we can give them the recognition they deserve with their own rankings.

We’re more than open to starting something if anyone has ideas or theories as to how it can work.

    • Russell Leak says:

I think you can rank them all with no weight class based upon records and quality of opponents. Some recognition is better than none. However, I also believe your response is a fair one.
